Poetry

there just ain’t enough room

brined through bone
in aftermaths of paring
flaying skin from sights seen

neuropathic yesterdays
turn tomorrow into untruths
foreshadowed, foretold, and foreseen

torn asunder by thine own self truths
left holding used tos
weight of the world in empty hands

not enough to keep a heart
drawn to someone close enough
who needs cigars anyway

go then, if you are unsure
go then, if you still love
go then, because don't has no place here
